DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Digital and Print Specialist reports to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement and is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of a wide variety of promotional and marketing initiatives for BRTC and the BRTC Foundation. Duties include leading the management of all promotional print and digital campaigns and content for BRTC and the BRTC Foundation; co-coordinating all photography and video creation and editing as well as organization, storage, maintenance, and access with the Communications Specialist; leading the selection of, design, ordering, and dissemination of promotional items for the College and Foundation; creating and maintaining a marketing plan as well as preforming market research; and assisting other IA members with IA activities such as communications and development, as necessary.
SKILLS
Excellent written and oral communication, photography, and technology skills are required. Must be customer service-oriented, well-organized, and detail-oriented. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and meet strict deadlines. Must be able to function well in a team environment, be self-motivated, and possess critical thinking skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
The formal educational equivalent of a baccalaureate degree or in marketing, digital media, or related field is preferred or a baccalaureate degree with 3 years advertising, social media, marketing, and promotion experience is required. Other work-related experience may be substituted for all or part of this requirement. The formal education equivalent of a two-year degree is required. Black River Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Phlebotomy Instructor. This position is a full-time, nine-month position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The applicant will be responsible for course instruction for the Phlebotomy program primarily at the BRTC Paragould campus, under the direction of the Phlebotomy Program Director, Dean of Nursing and Allied Health and Vice President for Academics. Travel between Pocahontas, Paragould, and clinical sites may be required. The applicant will also be responsible for student advisement, program assessment, and various committee assignments.
Qualifications:
The minimal professional degree required is an associate degree in nursing OR an allied health profession with appropriate licensure for Arkansas. Professional experience will be considered. Biology/Chemistry/Physical Science Instructor
The primary location for this position will be at our Pocahontas location with the possibility of some classes in Paragould. The instructor will instruct and facilitate student learning in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, and Physical Science; advise students; assess student learning; participate in faculty committees; and maintain a commitment to student recruitment and retention. Summer employment and overload hours are possible. This is a typical full-time nine (9) month position and begins Fall 2022 term. Renewal of contracts for full-time faculty occur at the end of the spring term, based on performance evaluation.
Qualifications:
The applicant must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree with eighteen graduate hours in Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, or a closely related field with demonstrated ability to teach at the college level.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Administrative Specialist for the Office of Academic Affairs works under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Academic Affairs and is responsible for typing, and providing clerical support to the supervisory and professional faculty/staff. Additionally, the Administrative Specialist: 1.) Organizes, arranges, and attends division meetings, adjunct meetings, semi-annual advisory committee meetings, and other conferences or seminars as necessary. 2.) The Administrative Specialist will also take minutes, transcribe, and distribute them as needed. 3.) Other responsibilities include updating and maintaining the faculty forms page on the website and creating new forms as necessary.
There will be a variety of additional duties not previously listed which occur during the academic year.
QUALIFICATIONS: The formal education equivalent of an Associate’s Degree is preferred plus one year of specialized training in the secretarial field; plus one year of clerical experience. Excellent writing, communication, and computer skills (especially Excel) are necessary. CORPORATE & COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAM SPECIALIST
Black River Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Corporate and Community Education Program Specialist. The Corporate and Community Education Program Specialist serves as a member of the Corporate and Community outreach team under the direct supervision of the Corporate and Community Education Director. This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Corporate and Community Education in areas of program development and implementation for corporate clients and community partners. This is a twelve-month position and requires evening and weekend activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The areas of responsibilities will include, but are not limited to establishing, cultivating, and maintaining client relationships, assisting in the development, set-up and administration of programs for corporate and business clients and for community programs and events; assist with monitoring and reporting of apprenticeship programs; facilitate the development of marketing and advertising materials for course offerings; aid with recruitment of faculty, customer service, course and event logistics; conduct market research to determine learning needs of clients served and possible future programs that would be desirable to clients; assist with maintaining records and generation of reports as required by BRTC, ADHE, and other state agencies as required; participate in writing grants for funding specialized training; and other duties as assigned by the Director of Corporate and Community Education.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The preferred professional degree will be a Bachelor’s degree. Two or more years of work experience as a customer service or sales representative is desirable. The program specialist must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be willing to continue his/her education through technical training and professional development.
