The Sylvia Cagle Single Parent Scholarship is provided by Darrell Cagle in honor of his mother, Sylvia, who raised him while being a single mother.

Deadline:

• Fall-September 1st
• Spring- February 1st

Award Amount

• $500 to one student, available each fall and spring

Requirements

• Must be a Randolph County resident
• Must be a single parent, male or female
• Past Sylvia Cagle Single Parent Scholarship recipients may apply
• Must be a non-traditional student
• The recipient will be chosen by lottery draw
