BRTC AWARDS THE LEONDUS AND GLADYS BROWN BAKER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

POCAHONTAS, AR August 21– Emma Cline of Maynard has been awarded the Leondus and Gladys Brown Baker Memorial Scholarship for Fall 2020.  Cline is a 2020 graduate of Maynard High School. Cline is the daughter of Larry and Stephanie Cline.  She is seeking an Associate of Arts – General Education.

The Leondus and Gladys Brown Baker Scholarship was created by the Larry Baker family in memory of Larry Baker’s parents, Leondus and Gladys Brown Baker. The scholarship is awarded to Black River Technical College students with priority to those who live in the Dalton and Randolph County area first. Students must have a minimum 2.75 GPA.
