DONATION MADE TO THE BRTC WELDING PROGRAM
POCAHONTAS, AR May 23 — John Gillespie of Tumbling Shoals has donated two metal fabricating devices, valued at $3500, to the BRTC welding program.
Gillespie contributed one roller bender, which is valued at $1500. Roller benders can be used to create arcs, bends, cylinders, and circular objects. He also donated a sheet bender, valued at $2000. The sheet bender can be used to deform metal into an angular shape. Both pieces of equipment are an important part of custom metal fabrication.
BRTC appreciates this generous donation, along with all other community members who contribute and show support to the college.
