The Black River Automation Technology program will enable electrical maintenance, PLC technicians, and systems engineers to better understand and utilize their PLC technology, which will help them minimize downtime and reduce waste.
This 4-year apprenticeship program is structured system of training, designed to prepare individuals for occupations in skilled trades and crafts. Apprenticeship combines related classroom instruction with on-the-job training under the supervision of experienced and licensed workers. Workers who complete apprenticeship training programs can expect to hold good jobs at good pay! Their skills are a source of personal satisfaction as well as employment security. This 14-week online Pharmacy Technician course will prepare students to enter the field of Pharmacy and to pursue national certification. The need for Pharmacy Technicians continue to grow with demand expected to increase substantially through 2020. Approximately 420,000 technicians were employed in 2018. Employment of Pharmacy Technicians has 7% growth projections each year through 2028. Students will learn Pharmacy Calculations, medical terminology, skills necessary to read and interpret prescriptions, review of the top 100 drugs and the skill necessary to identify drugs by brand and generic names.
